SCHAUMBURG, Ill. (April 17, 2019) – The wait is over – registration officially opened Wednesday for Emergency Nursing 2019 in Austin, Texas, which will be held Sept. 29-Oct. 2.

Held annually, the Emergency Nurses Association’s premier education and networking conference welcomes emergency nurses from across the United States and members of the international nursing community. Over four days at the Austin Convention Center, attendees will experience innovative and hands-on learning as they reconnect and re-energize with their peers during the event which drew 3,100 emergency nurses to Pittsburgh last year.

“From the exciting and engaging array of education, to the buzz in the exhibit hall and at the annual welcome party, ENA19 will once again be the center of the emergency nursing world,” said ENA President Patricia Kunz Howard, PhD, RN, CEN, CPEN, TCRN, NE-BC, FAEN, FAAN.

For the first time, ENA today released the full slate of educational programming simultaneous to the start of registration. Attendees can browse the 100-plus different sessions being presented across several key tracks, such as pediatrics, behavioral health and trauma. This year’s offerings continue ENA’s tradition of unique and interactive learning opportunities, such as the popular SIM Wars competition and the Cadaver Lab. ENA also announced Stryker and Teleflex as its strategic partners for Emergency Nursing 2019.

The expansive exhibit hall will once again feature the latest in health care technology, as well as opportunities for nurses to learn about advancing their careers and expand their knowledge base during several education-driven presentations.

ENA-exclusive excursions to explore Austin’s music, culture and food, and the ENA Weird Fest welcome party, both benefitting the ENA Foundation, give everyone a chance to unwind during their trip to the Lone Star State.

“I invite every emergency nurse out there to make the journey to Austin to see firsthand how they can enhance their skills, boost their career development and have a little fun with ENA,” Howard added.
