Topic: Violence and Incivility in the Workplace

Violence in the ED is unfortunately an ongoing concern. November’s Social Hour will include an update on what ENA is doing to combat this issue, along with open discussion about:

• Common signs or manifestations of violence from patients and fellow staff
• How different healthcare facilities respond to incidents of violence
• Steps emerging nurses and leaders can take to foster safe and supportive workplaces
