Registration Policy Rules

CANCELLATION POLICY: Requests for cancellations or refunds must be submitted by email to ena@csreg.zohodesk.com on or before Aug 4. All requests are subject to a $50 administrative fee. Refunds will be processed in the name of the original payer within 60 days after the initial request is received. All conference registrations are non-transferable. Refunds are not given after Aug. 4, and ENA will not reimburse you if you do not attend.

Non-receipt of a confirmation notice before the event is not justification for seeking a refund. If you wish to defer your registration payment to Emergency Nursing 2024, that request must be submitted in writing on or before Aug. 4. Deferred registrations will not be eligible for refunds later. Emergency Nursing 2023 registrants who are approved a deferral request will be allowed to defer for only one year. The refund and cancellation policy will not be waived.

NON-REFUNDABLE POLICY: ENA membership dues, donations to the ENA Foundation, additional registration add-on items including t-shirt orders, special events and educational sessions with a fee are non-refundable at any time.

ADD-ON TICKET POLICY: You must be registered for Emergency Nursing 2023 to purchase registration add-on items or tickets for special events or educational sessions. Ticketed educational sessions that are eligible for CNE hours cannot overlap. All add-on tickets are non-transferable.

CHILD CARE POLICY: In response to attendee requests, and to provide a safe and educational atmosphere at the event, children and infants are not allowed in educational sessions, the Experience Hall or special events. If you plan to bring a child younger than the age of 18, please plan for child care in advance.

Code of Conduct

ENA welcomes you to attend Emergency Nursing 2023 with a spirit of inclusivity, friendliness, open-mindedness and respect.

By attending Emergency Nursing 2023 you agree to:

  • Communicate openly and thoughtfully with your fellow participants.
  • Be considerate of the multitude of views and opinions that are different than your own.
  • Treat everyone with respect and consideration.
  • Be respectful, mindful and generative in your critique of ideas.
  • Be mindful of your surroundings and of your fellow participants.

ENA prohibits discrimination, harassment and bullying against any person for any reason.

Harassment includes but is not limited to:

  • Any verbal, written or physical conduct designed to threaten, intimidate or coerce another delegate, event organizers or staff.
  • Verbal abuse of any attendee, speaker, volunteer, exhibitor, staff member, service provider or other event guest.

Comments that are offensive or unwelcome regarding a person's nationality, origin, race, color, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, body, disability or appearance, including epithets, slurs and negative stereotyping.

Nonverbal harassment includes: Disrespectful disruption of presentations or distribution, display or discussion of any written or graphic material that ridicules, denigrates, insults, belittles or shows hostility, aversion or disrespect toward an individual or group because of national origin, race, ethnicity, religion, age, gender, sexual orientation, pregnancy, appearance, disability, sexual identity, marital or other protected status. Contact ENA staff to report an incident.

If you are involved in or witness an incident during Emergency Nursing 2023 that violates the Code of Conduct, please immediately inform a member of ENA staff.

ENA will not require COVID-19 testing or masking in order to attend Emergency Nursing 2023 or related events. Please continue to be respectful of attendees and staff personal decisions related to masking decision and safety precautions.
