The ENA Foundation has announced its 2024 Board of Trustees, which will be chaired by Amy Boren, MS, BSN, RN, NREMT, CEN, CPEN, TCRN, an ED educator for the North Region of UCHealth.

“Since it was established in 1991, the ENA Foundation has enabled thousands of emergency nurses to advance their education and undertake important research that contributes to our specialty,” Boren said. “I’m looking forward to supporting more members in the coming year, as well as building our donor base and seeing those contributions lead to exciting work.”

In 2023, the ENA Foundation, a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, awarded more than $518,130 to 203 nurses in educational scholarships, research grants and other opportunities within the field of emergency nursing.

The first 2024 scholarship and grant cycle will be open Jan. 8 through Feb. 23, when submissions are accepted for the third class of Emergency Nursing Diverse Voices Research fellows and for global members applying for scholarships to attend Emergency Nursing 2024 in Las Vegas.
